GHL EHEIM-Controller PL-0749

Attention: Please order EHEIM-Controller only if your EHEIM-Filter disposes of the appropriate firmware! For details see below.

With the Eheim-contoller of GHL you can also access your Eheim external filter (professionel 3^e series) via the ProfiLux controller, as long as it offers a PC-interface.

The controller is connected via the serial port of the ProfiLux controller and doesn't need an additional power supply.

In order to make sure that also further on other devices like e.g. ProfiLux View II, SMS-unit or a PC can additionally be connected to the ProfiLux controller, the RS232 connection of ProfiLux has been looped in.

This means that ProfilLux View II, SMS-unit or the link with a PC are connected to the controller (sequence: ProfiLux - Eheim controller - PC or SMS-module or View)

The connection of the filter is made via its communication interface. The connection of the Eheim-Interface (USB-Converter) at the same time is further on possible since the controller disposes of two interfaces.

The communication and the operational availability are shown via two status-LEDs. 

The necessary connection cables to the filter as well as to the ProfiLux controller are included in delivery.

Important - please pay attention!

In order to use the EHEIM-controller, it is absolutely necessary that your EHEIM-filter has at least firmware 5.01 resp. 6.01 (depends on the model).

With an older filter firmware the EHEIM-controller can’t be used!

You can update the firmware, for this, you need the original EHEIM-PC-interface.

• Dimensions (LxHxW): 100x67x24 mm !! (H+55mm for cable connections/ W+ca.3mm for device feet)!!
• Two drilled holes for screwing the device to a wall or into a cabinet are available
